Port St Mary and its surrounding area may offer one of the most diverse populations of wildflowers on the island.
Meadow cranesbill, great willowherb, charlock, lady's bedstraw, sea campions and many others can be found in the vicinity of Chapel Beach.
Moving towards the harbour, nastutrtiums can be found growing, alongside giant bindweed in the summer months.
Continuing towards Glen Chass, you will find tree mallow, three-cornered leek, bluebells, ground ivy and the rare barren strawberry.
