The area surrounding Eary Cushlin offers one of the island's most varied habitats for wildflowers, including peat bog, woodland and coastal areas.
Eary Cushlin is most notable for its acid bog area - a rare habitat on the island. Common and heath spotted orchids can be found here, along with yellow rattle, bog asphodel, cottongrass and sundew.
The surrounding grass and woodland areas contain a diverse array of flowers, including common centaury, french cranesbill and a profusion of wood sorrel.
Moving towards the coast, you will find foxgloves, tormentil and small patches of acid bog plants.
