Situated near Douglas, Chibbanagh plantation is a favourite destination for dog walkers, but is also a habitat for a wide variety of wildflowers and fungi.
Chibbanagh plantation is divided into two halves by a large open area.
The north-facing part of Chibbanagh is home to large quantities of rosebay willowherb, along with other forest plants.
The open area on top of the hill provides a habitat for slender st john's wort, foxgloves and other grassland plants.
Plants that prefer wetter soil and more shade can be found in the south-facing area of the forest, including smith's pepperwort.
