The northernmost coast of offers an entirely different habitat to the rest of the island and a very different group of flowers can be found here.

Flowers such as pyramidal orchid, sea spurge and the rare sea holly cannot be found in the more southern parts of the island. The ayres are rife with burnet roses, making for a spectacular sight when they are in bloom.
